Most classic right hand drive trucks are already restored, exported or scrapped, to get new trucks on the scene and restored they are going to be imported. The club is here to help to guide you through purchasing , obtaining key numbers and registration with DVLA  .

 If you want a new fresh truck to restore it’s going to be an import.

Importing a vehicle from the EU can be quite a time consuming and long winded process,involving lots of paperwork and telephone calls if one small detail is not right.

The whole process can be very frustrating if just one small item is not correct, as far as things like a pen mark going outside the border of a box,or the wrong weight put in a box. DVLA will just send your application straight back and then the fun begins.

DVLA will only accept vehicle dating certificates in a certain format, if you provide one that isn't in the correct format your application will be rejected.
